Arlington

Placed upon “best places to live in the United States”.

Welcome to Arlington

A highly sought-after, close-knit community

On the southern shore of the Potomac River just across from the District of Columbia in Virginia, Arlington offers close proximity to national monuments, government buildings, Reagan International Airport, and anything else one could ever want or need. A bustling nightlife scene, ample opportunities for outdoor recreation, and a great economy have placed Arlington upon several “best places to live in the United States” by countless magazines and news publications.

Originally a land grant from the British government, Arlington County was then acquired by the grandson of Martha Washington, passed down to the wife of Robert E. Lee, and then later became Arlington National Cemetery during the Civil War. Once a part of the District of Columbia, Arlington is the second-largest city in the region, is fraught with history, and is highly loved by folks from all walks of life.

What to Love

Local Lifestyle

A bustling metropolis in its own right, Arlington is vibrant, historic, and colorful. Central Arlington is home to national headquarters for many high-powered companies, hotels boasting beautiful waterfront views, and a buzzy after-hours scene. Locals enjoy playing tourist in their hometown, appreciating the several national memorials, museums, and significant historical sites. Reagan International Airport is just minutes away on the east part of town, while central D.C, is five miles away, just beyond the Potomac River making last-minute getaways a breeze, especially thanks to the several conveniently located Metro stops throughout the community.

Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping

The Italian Store has been Arlington’s favorite gourmet specialty shop and eatery for over 40 years. New York-style pizza, Italian subs, and coffee are available to go, along with a wide variety of, as the owners call it, “the good stuff.” The Italian Store boasts one of the largest selections of Italian wines in the area, fresh mozzarella and meats, and hundreds of other gourmet Italian imports.

Ballston Quarter is Arlington‘s premier destination for shopping, dining, and other entertainment. This unique, multilevel experience features local boutiques, a movie theater with reclining seats, food, and fun. Instagram Alley on the second level offers 1,000 feet of colorful photo backgrounds to commemorate days spent with friends and loved ones, all perfect for your next photo dump.

Located just down the boulevard, Covet is one of Arlington‘s favorite boutiques for eclectic finds. Home decor, vegan handbags, and other funky treasures all make for perfect gifts or the next addition to your own home.
